I am husband, father, and an aspiring photographer. I love portrait and landscape photography as well as events. There really isn't much I wont shoot as long as I am enjoying myself while I am doing it.

Iceland

Iceland

Last week, I was afforded the opportunity to travel to Reykjavik, Iceland.  I traveled the country side and braved extreme cold to capture the  following:  the Golden Circle, Aurora Borealis (northern lights), and Hallgrimskirkja (the church).  It took a great deal of patience, and I believe these images are a reflection of a beautiful country and natural phenomenon we all should experiance at least once in our lifetime. Enjoy…

Growing Family

Growing Family

I met this couple literally on their wedding day a few years back.  We have since become very close over the years.  I have worked with them a few times in the past, and I was very excited about yet another opportunity to photograph this family.  The Panzo’s are great people and their continued support of my business over the years have truly been a blessing.  For this shoot they wanted to capture their family before their new addition was born.  We wanted to catch the essence of summer and relaxation so went to a local state park/beach in Northern Virginia to do the shoot, and I must say the results were amazing….Enjoy!

Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Young

Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Young

Last month, I was hired only a couple weeks before the wedding to capture the nuptials of Mr. and Mrs. Young.  The venue was very nice and the couple were a pleasure to work with.  Lighting on the inside as with most receptions/ceremonies was a little harsh.  However, I believe we were able to capture some great shoots despite the lighting challenges.  I learned a lot from this shoot and as always, I am humbled to be chosen to capture yet another one of life’s most precious moments…Enjoy!

Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Phillips

Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Phillips

Earlier this month, I had the pleasure of traveling to St. Petersburg/St. Pete Florida to photograph my first yacht wedding.  The weather was more than cooperative and made for a great shoot.  Most photos were taking as we were cruising along the scenic waterways and here are a few of my favorite shots of the Bride and Groom.  Enjoy…

Snowy Engagement Shoot

Snowy Engagement Shoot

On the aftermath of a brief snowstorm here in the DC metro area I was afforded the opportunity to shoot the save the date/engagement photos for a lovely couple.  The couple was brave enough to venture into the cold which allowed for some great images.  Most impressive was the bride to be ability to trek in the snow with those six-inch heels (kudos madame).  Enjoy…

On a frigid day in South Carolina, a couple wanted a few shots taken of them before their wedding ceremony.  This was a quick but very productive shoot that required all parties involved to brave the cold.  Here are a few shots from that shoot…Enjoy!
