I met this couple literally on their wedding day a few years back. We have since become very close over the years. I have worked with them a few times in the past, and I was very excited about yet another opportunity to photograph this family. The Panzo’s are great people and their continued support of my business over the years have truly been a blessing. For this shoot they wanted to capture their family before their new addition was born. We wanted to catch the essence of summer and relaxation so went to a local state park/beach in Northern Virginia to do the shoot, and I must say the results were amazing….Enjoy!

Last month, I was hired only a couple weeks before the wedding to capture the nuptials of Mr. and Mrs. Young. The venue was very nice and the couple were a pleasure to work with. Lighting on the inside as with most receptions/ceremonies was a little harsh. However, I believe we were able to capture some great shoots despite the lighting challenges. I learned a lot from this shoot and as always, I am humbled to be chosen to capture yet another one of life’s most precious moments…Enjoy!
A friend of mine had her little nice from out of town for spring break last month. So as one of her surprises she decided to give her niece a photo shoot in Georgetown, Washington, DC. The young lady was such a pleasure to photograph and very well mannered. I must say we crammed a lot of shots in a short period of time but here are the results, enjoy…
Share my love, that’s the name of the song currently in rotation in my iTunes. It more than perfectly describes the couple I referred to above. While at work, I was informed that they were going to move up their wedding ceremony to be conducted by justice for the peace in Washington, DC. Since I am not one to miss a photo oppurtunity I grabbed my camera and dash over there to help my friends celebrate. While at the ceremony I had the idea to take them over to the tidal basin and snap a few shots. Here’s the outcome and I hope you all enjoy…
On the weekend of July 4th, my wife and kids were able to meet me in Richmond to enjoy my family reunion. As many of you may know I work in the DC metro area and commute back and forth between SC & Northern Virginia. I haven’t seen them in a few weeks prior to this event so above is a self portrait of My son, Michael Jr. and me, Michael Sr. Family is irreplaceable and if you have one or have others that depend on you, please don’t ever take then for granted. Not a day goes by that they aren’t on my mind… below are a few more of my favorite portraits from the event…Enjoy
I Was in Charlotte, NC with my phrat brothers for the CIAA weekend as you all may have seen in one of my previous posts. While there I was able to assist with a photo shoot. There were some beautiful models and the chemistry was perfect from the clothing line’s creators, to the models, and the lead photographer and myself. Here are a few shots from the shoot and I look forward to dabbling more with fashion, portrait photography in natural settings.
My Power In One is the belief that we should all do our part to help make the world a better place. Albeit we can do more together then individually but don’t get caught into associations, without first researching what you are associated with. I am just saying…
