Last week, I was afforded the opportunity to travel to Reykjavik, Iceland. I traveled the country side and braved extreme cold to capture the following: the Golden Circle, Aurora Borealis (northern lights), and Hallgrimskirkja (the church). I met this couple literally on their wedding day a few years back. We have since become very close over the years. I have worked with them a few times in the past, and I was very excited about yet another opportunity to photograph this family. The Panzo’s are great people and their continued support of my business over the years have truly been a blessing. For this shoot they wanted to capture their family before their new addition was born. We wanted to catch the essence of summer and relaxation so went to a local state park/beach in Northern Virginia to do the shoot, and I must say the results were amazing….Enjoy!
Last month, I was hired only a couple weeks before the wedding to capture the nuptials of Mr. and Mrs. Young. The venue was very nice and the couple were a pleasure to work with. Lighting on the inside as with most receptions/ceremonies was a little harsh. However, I believe we were able to capture some great shoots despite the lighting challenges. I learned a lot from this shoot and as always, I am humbled to be chosen to capture yet another one of life’s most precious moments…Enjoy!
